The IGT S-2000 Sugar & Spice reel slot game focuses upon the fun and niceties of reel slots, namely, more than one symbol that is wild and substitutes for all other symbols on the pay line, except for each other; this game is different, for the Wild Sugar symbol does not substitute for the Wild Spice symbol and vice-versa, but there are plenty of award levels on which the avid slot player will be able to win. The name of the game is winning and there are fifteen award levels. Three Wild Sugar symbols on the pay line comprise the top jackpot award, while the second award level consists of three Wild Spice symbols. The third award level allows for any combination of three Wild Sugar or Wild Spice symbols on the pay line. The next block of award levels consist of various combinations of 7s that comprise the next five award levels. In effect, the landing of one red 7, one white 7, and one purple 7 in that order, comprises the fourth award level, while three red 7 symbols in a row makes up the fifth award level. Three white 7 symbols on the pay line is the sixth award level, followed by three purple 7s as being the seventh award level. Finally, any three mixed colored 7 symbols in any order on the pay line rounds out the eighth award level dealing with the lucky number 7. The next block of symbols deals with bar symbols, and any colored bars or 7s, like ‘Any Red,’ ‘Any White,’ and ‘Any Purple’ symbols. The ninth award level are three purple triple bar symbols, followed by three white double bar symbols as the tenth award level. The eleventh award level consists of ‘Any Red,’ ‘Any White,’ and ‘Any Purple’ symbols in that order. The number twelve award level has three red single bars landing on the pay line, with the thirteenth being any combination of mixed bars or any combination of the two wild symbols. The fourteenth award level has three ‘Any Red’ symbols on the pay line, while the final award level, as being number fifteen, has three ‘Any Purple’ symbols or anyone wild symbol on the single pay line. This is the big advantage for the player over other reel slot games, for the player can win on a color that is not consistent of the same symbol; for instance, the fourteenth award level comprises three ‘Any Red’ symbols landing on the pay line, like the possibility of two red single bar symbols and one red 7 symbol. One can appreciate the additional possibilities in winning on award levels when different symbols of the same color come into play and this gives a huge winning advantage to the slot player.
